There are several videos with her talking to Saint Gertude HS, those kids are freaking lucky!

Forcing it works for me as well =) I find that if I start off dull and mundane and keep with the narrative for long enough, the symbolism and bits of what I'm really feeling in my gut begin to slip through and then the writing becomes adventurous and effortless from there and writing becomes a joy again instead of feeling like a chore lol. The longer you write, the more will come out, so force yourself and be patient. The rest will come =) That's my advice =)

Anne, I'm trying to get published myself. And I find your advice, and your comments inspirational in themselves. But I have to confess, I feel like I'm not getting enough written at a specific time. Do you ever feel like that? And if so, how do you deal with it? I apologize if this seems redundant.

I am let's say a wanna be artist and i followed Anne's advice. I usually find myself in front of some scribblings and I used to let it be or throw it away but I tried forcing them and I'm surprised myself what great drawings emerged from some pieces of crap. The hole process was nerve-breaking though. I was like hate it; hate it; it sucks; hate it; hate it; it's awful; hate it; hate it; love it; done.
Thanks for your advice Anne, books and for helping me get closer to an artist.

Somehow, I am very surprised by Anne Rice reading Stephen King. Then on a second thought, why not! :)
