For Beyond 50's "Sustainable & Eco-Friendly Practices," watch a video interview with Matthew Stein who wrote "When Technology Fails" about essential survival skills. He believes that we will see increasing environmental and political instabilities that will cause disruptions in the flow of electricity and goods to large numbers of people. He wrote the Bible on sustainable living skills to survive a long emergency. You'll learn things like peak oil, water quality and treatment, low-tech medicine, generating heat and power, and more. It's essential to get his book, just in case. In this interview, he talks about the top essential things to have for a medical emergency using low-tech medicine. • Excellent homeopathic remedies here. We make & consume high quality colloidal silver & it works great. Thanks for the other remedies. I also suggest stocking up on dried beans, rice, & canned meats. Bread making abilities are also "required". Last but not least - shelter, warm clothing, and a method of distilling "dirty water". Good luck for all who prepare in advance for survival. Your efforts will not be wasted. Also the ability to defend yourselves & your supplies is important. Good luck all.
