This is a High Chaparral News Clip at Old Tucson from KVOA TV 4 that aired in the late 90's. The clip has Robert Shelton, Frank Soto & Alan Moorehead in it. The reporter that put this news clip together, borrowed High Chaparral footage from Brenda & I so that this news clip could be made. We're also proud to say that we produced & promoted in conjunction with Old Tucson, the first ever High Chaparral cast reunion at the Old Tucson Movie Studios in Tucson Arizona in the mid 90's for two years back to back with the 3rd one in 1999 at the Viscount Hotel in Tucson. In attendance the 1st & 2nd year were Henry Darrow, Don Collier, Ted Markland, Bob Hoy, Rudy Ramos, Roberto Contreras & several other celebrities! Visit us at http://www.celebritymeetandgreet.com

  • I grew up in the 60's High Chaparral was my favortite western, I also grew up in the south west, I watched all the 60's westerns, and High Chaparral was the most realistic, they worked hard, and got dirty, and were very human. The show did not have the pretense of other westerns, it was real.

  • nice clip

    the of Western televition

  • Henry Darrow que hacia el papel de Manolito era de Puerto Rico. Una gran serie, gracias por subirla a YouTube.

  • Bloated budget. Stay in the top 20 the actors all want a bigger piece of the pie. Combat! was the same but the producer dumped it for cheaper actors, same boom-boom: "Garrison's Guerillas". Old Tucson is great.

  • I wish EncoreWestern would show this again.

  • Great clip remembering a great show.

  • Es la mejor serie de toda la historia televisiva, espero que algun dia esta serie sea retrasmitida de nueva cuenta, muchas gracias por revivir los viejos tiempos.

  • I loved watching the show as a kid and finally got to go see the the set at Old Tucson back in October 2007. It was amazing to stand where such great acting had once taken place.

  • High Chaparral, first show I saw after coming to this country, my Father released after having been incarcerated and tortured for many years as a Political Prisoner. Wonderful years as I sat with my Father and watched High Chaparral. It's a transformation to listen. I praise you for your efforts.

  • Man i love that show
