Jeff Corey Tribute: Matt Corey, Trinity Gospel Temple Orchestra, Bro Dave Lombardi

Jeffrey K Corey age 44, of Canton, went to be with the Lord on June 1st following a long battle. Jeff was an admired musician and educator. He spent more than 20 years teaching music in Canton City Schools. Jeff was one of the areas finest trumpet players and had performed all over the country with various groups including the Canton Bluecoats. Jeff performed every Sunday at Trinity Gospel Temple for nearly 30 years. As an educator, Jeff worked with music programs at most of the Canton schools including McKinley (where he was a 1982 graduate), Timken, Crenshaw and several years as the head band director at Hartford Middle School. 'Boomer' as he was known to many of his friends was an outdoors man and loved fishing and camping. Jeff also loved motorcycles.
