VK2BLH @ Barrenjoey for International Lighthouse/Lightship Weekend 2008

In August every year there is a special event held world wide to promote public awareness of lighthouses and lightships and their need for preservation and restoration, and to foster international goodwill. The event involves amateur radio operators establishing communications between as many of the lighthouses as possible as well as with other operators. This video is about the activation of the Barrenjoey Lighthouse north of Sydney by amateur operators Gerard (callsign VK2IO) and Axel (callsign VK2HXL) and members of the Manly Warringah Radio Society (MWRS).
