Produced from 2002 through 2005 this collection of over forty-five illustrations represent an attempt to capture how Ian Fleming envisioned Bond. Often differing dramatically from the scenes depicted in the films, these illustrations represent images drawn from Fleming's own words within his novels.

Call it fan art,,, the Bond "B-Sides".... whatever you like. I like to think of it as a small homage to the literary Bond.

  • It's there. It's a subtle feature and probably gets "lost" due to the resolution of the video. When the updated version appears, you'll have an opportunity to view hi-res stills. The scar is evident in those.

    Thanks for your comment.

  • How could I get the song by the way? I think you composed it, its really good.

  • @aramis111pacitto ...I'll be making the song "Not Bond" available for download soon on my blog.

Check BrianBerley(dot)com next month for the song link.

  • Great work.

The scene from Casino Royale that always amuses me in its absence is the flawed bombing of the Casino early in the book.

  • @jfellrath ...That scene is one of many from the novels from which I hope to illustrate. You may have also noted that both "LIve And Let Die" and "Moonraker" (as well as Fleming's short stories) are missing from this collection. This is simply because I've yet to tackle them. Perhaps someday soon....

  • Great work. The only thing missing is Bond's scar on his right cheek.

  • Nice video, but can you make more about his wristwatches in novels ? It would be nice to see illustrated Bond glance at his watch in dr no when it stoped at 3 o clock

  • I hope to also scenes from the short stories. The really good ones at least.

  • I love the part at the end of You Only Live twice where he stands above the strangled body of Blofeld. Also, the first shot from Casino Royale and the fight scene from Goldfinger are very well done. Just the way I pictured it! Great job!

  • Bravo!

  • In the future, IF EON would remake the 007 titles as faithful as possible to Ian Fleming and IF it'd be an anime, I wish it would be as YOUR way.

  • @BrianBerley The ONLY thing I noticed is that I think Vesper Lynd is supposed to have shoulder length black hair. Looks brown in the video.
