This is a video of my original creation, the "Cubby Trap Disc Golf Target. See how well my design traps the disc. I think it does a better job than a conventional chain target.

  • Hey, Thanks for posting this!

I saw it last night and made one like it today. I have approximately $30 invested.

Now I just need to get better at hitting it.

    Thanks again.

  • Glad to see the Cubby Trap built by someone else, you are the first to let me know the Cubby Trap was duplicated. I hope you enjoy it.

  • i would suggest taking the strings on the corners off and put a small pole going down the center with something attaching it to the bottom section so you will have the same hanging basket but without the strings. And my reason for it is that if someone were to put and hit one of the strings on the corner it would mess up the put.

  • Actually a center pole would limit the flap action in this target. The wires on the corner really don't come into play and hekp more than hurt.

  • cool, but w/e u hang this thing from would end up being an obstruction, plus sneakybeaver13V2 has a point, i can imagine a disk just bouncing off if it directly hits one of the corner strings

  • Sorry it haas taken so long to get back to you. Busy season at work. I have not had time to look at the target and put together a mterials list and cost but mybe in the fall.

  • so how much would it cost to have one made for me and shipped?

  • I would have to make one for you.

  • how would i go about getting a cubby trap for my course I have 9 holes and 6 different basket types,.... a seventh would be sweet

  • The flaps hang below the rim so when a disc tries to go out the back the flap does not swing out. The flaps only swing in. The disc could twist going out between the back flaps, but for the most part what goes in dosc not come out.
