Drag racing is harder than it looks to newbies and I met that guy at a bike night, he told me how his Vegas would run low 11's after I told him my Hammer went 12.2's (I have over 500 passes on that Hammer, I can tell you with 3/100th what it will run). So I figured what would be better than to invite him to our local bike only event and let him show us. As you can see, it takes a lot more practice to achieve a good run and at best that Vegas is a low 12 bike (Well ridden).

That is pretty much an out of the box Hammer. It has slip-ons, an air box mod and a fuel controller. My buddy was racing it while I videoed the T&T. I raced that Hammer for 3 years in the AMRA E class. My avg ET was 11.90 with a best of an 11.84 @ 113mph. I did change out the wheels and tires from solid cast alum to the new hollow cast alum. and the tires from Dunlop E3's to Metzler XXX. The wheel and tire weight saving was huge, it took .4 seconds off my ET, by far the best ET improvement

Ok guys, when I post these things I expect that the people viewing are intelligent enough to figure out the diff between a V-Rod, a Destroyer and a Victory.

Nowhere have you ever heard me say that any make bike was faster than another.

I loved the videos...whether sport bikes or cruisers I like them all....doesn't matter what someone else is riding I still wave when I'm on my own two wheels.
