No, you do not need to have the Architect version to create a base. All that's needed is for you to be a level 10 or higher -- and access to the red or blue side (depending on where you want to create your base at)

The trick is to use different banners for each letter. To do this, you first have to select the letter as your SG symbol. Once you've done that, choose a banner to place that letter to it before going back to change the symbol again for your next letter.
If this doesn't make sense to you -- let me know and I'll create a video for you to show how it's done.

How do you add custom letters to the supergroup banner stands in the "Hero Area." I've seen it in other bases and on the supergroup floorplate as well. But I've selected these items and can't figure out how they are being customized.

im a beginner and i was wondering how long (estimated) would it take me to get to level 50, if i played at least 3-4 times a week for 2 hours....? and when i need a supergroup how could i find a good one?

@yourshitgotpowned - when you need a good SG, just send a tell to @Goat's and he'll hook you up.
As for the "how long would it take me to get to 50"... that depends on the teams you're running with, what they are fighting (AV's would dole out better leveling than regular 50's, etc.) and if you're playing a total of 2 hours per week, or 2 hours per day. Significant difference in time to get to 50 if you're comparing 2 hours a week to 2 hours a week x 3 days a week. :)

grass... and water?!?! how did you do this?!

@datasloth - For grass it's the floor tile you choose followed by just the right blend of green to make your grass look realistic. As for the water, that's created with the slow fields but they must be placed at the right position to get the water ripple.
If you want to see videos of how either of these are made, let me know and I will create them for you.
