17" Mini Deep Vee RC Boat - In the Whitsundays

After all the testing back in Canberra we finally got to run the boats off the side of our yacht during our Whitsundays yacht charter. We didn't see the nice calm waters that we were expecting but still managed to run the boats in 3 different locations.

hey are these boats worth buying off ebay? how much did it cost with the conrtroller and esc? its either this or the mini rio.

These boats are totally awesome. Definitely worth getting your hands on 1 or 2. I think I paid about US$150 per boat (I have bought 5 for me and friends) The ESC is included in the pack but we have had 2 die on us so you maybe like to upgrade to a better quality ESC. The boats seem to be very strong despite being a single layer fiberglass epoxy (easily repaired).

All you need to complete the boat is radio receiver and controller. You can use anything you like here. I had a Spectrum controller that I use for other vehicles so only needed the receiver.

We have loads of fun with ours. Cant speak for the mini rio, never seen one..

Are you running 11.1V 2200mAh Lipo 20C in all your videos....do the mini Deep Vee's flip over much? How many ESC have you been though. What did you ESC did you upgrade too?
