@Bryd3n Its not actually ''painted" but it looks much better from a different view.I got the idea from the earlier solobarics and from some of the other Kicker subs.the solo classics and the solox's are red and silver.the black subs with the silver and red accents look better anyways,I'm suprised they didnt have the l5's this way and leave the l7's and the compvx's black and silver .the only thing i need is a bigger amp.
