@jessed3290 So true. Kinda lame that Dylan isn't listed as a performer. Almost as good as the Dylan/Harrison/Perkins version from 5/1/70

This version is good, but the version the Avetts did on their own on Jimmy Fallon is better. I'd rather listen to Johnny on his own, Dylan on his own, and the Avetts on their own. Can't copy the link, but search for it and it's there.

Bob just writes remarkable songs making this possible! They said, Dylan is in the background at the end singing." If he is I can barely hear him. Would have been way more cool to have let his voice shine in for about 10 seconds to bring the music full circle as they used to say in country music. The Avett'salwaysagoodchoice. So glad they left Johnny on here! Please release these sessions, Bob? We've been waiting to honor both Johnny & you!

Nice ....really thoughtful & ingenius leaving Johnny on here!

It's decent. All they've done is taken one of the original Cash & Dylan takes from their 1969 Nashville sessions, cleaned it up, and added the Avett Bros. I still have no idea as to why Dylan hasn't mastered and released the Nashville Sessions, officially. They are amazin.

Thanks for posting
Nut'n better than a Johnny Cash & Avett Brothers collaboration... Here's too hoping Rick Rubin has a few more up his sleeve that they can blend together!

that is Dylan on the very first verse with Johnny, then the Avett singer does the next verses. Dylan is clearly heard on every chorus. remember it Bob's Nashville Skyline voice you're hearing.
