Tour of my Hut, Peace Corps The Gambia

A short tour of my crib (I'm not allowed to disclose the location) I concider the average hut of volenteers here in the Gambia but I like to say mine's a tad larger ;), I got super lucky, and yes I built my own toilet. Hope you enjoy.

It's really not as bad as you think... you look forward to a nice cold (or warm if you left the bucket in the sun) bucket bath at the end of the day... and actually squatting on a pit latrine is better for your bowel movements, it's healthier... not to mention strengthens those thighs ;-)

I would love to visit Africa! But there are 4 things I can't live without, 24 hour electricity, air conditioning, Clean Hot Showers, and a western toilet. :)
