Dancing Jefferson Memorial, Take 2

After 5 people got arrested for dancing at the jefferson memorial, hundreds returned to reclaim the right to dance!!! Jefferson would have been proud.

Thomas Jefferson once said, "I would rather be exposed to the inconveniences attending too much liberty than to those attending too small a degree of it."

So, basically he states that he would rather deal the outcomes of too much liberty (us dancing on his memorial) that the outcomes of to little liberty (5 american citizens being locked up for dancing.) The dancers were simply protecting the freedom that he worked to hard to achieve.

I personally would LOVE to have someone throw a dance party in my remembrance... I don't give a FUCK if it were ON TOP of my grave... Let alone around it. However its not really a grave because he wasn't buried...

It isn't fair for people who want to see this guy's memorial and instead be forced to busy themselves around with huge group of dancing people; the memorial isn't for dancing, therefore dancing there shouldn't be allowed. If they want to dance, dance on their own property or in a place specifically made for dancing. However, having said that, being choked and bodyslammed just for dancing is far too extreme.

who cares about dancing think about all the Americans in fema camps around the world if you don't believe me check out congress form HR 645. this form talks about how Americans can have their citizenship removed under breaking the law then the police can send you to jail with no cause or no court case sooo LONG live the empire of the states
