how do i hotkey?

about shift clicking units: this is done to set a route for the units (good for scouting, but the units stop on each point on the route for a very short time, so if u have time to do manual scouting, just go for manual because it is slightly faster)
how to do it:
-> select units
-> hold shift
-> right click all the points on the map where the selected units should pass on your route
-> release shift
-> right click to set the final point on the route

What also would be useful would be to cover other hotkeys, like ctrl+# to assign a group of units a number, and then selecting that group by hitting the # key for it. Really helpful for scouting, or for larger armies that have multiple components.

Making unit groups is just incredible. It's cntrl+no. when you have them selected and afterwards it's just the no. to reselect.

I have a whole book based on Age of empires 2.It has strategies and story for all the races,its pretty cool.Nice video btw.
