  • Nice, she sounds lovely; I have a '77 with a 342 stroker, highly modified '78 351W heads, .538 lift cam, port matched edelbrock performer intake, 600cfm holley double pumper, 4spd. trans, and 3.73 rear end! What kind of motor do yours have? Take care of her!

  • @cooperray76 it was my friends car we made this video cuz he was selling it

he had a 351 with 3 speed trans 800 double pumper

  • Me likey!! :-)

couple questions for you though...are those headers,if I remember right from mine, Dynomax headers made for the 302 II, or did you have some made? I know deck height is a small problem putting a 351 in a II. The other question is what mufflers are you running?

  • i was helping my friend sell the car

so we made a video to sell it on ebay

i really dont know anything about it

    sorry

see all

  • Sounds fast. LOL its a glorified pinto. Just fuckin with ya. It really does sound good. Now Im gonna smoke a spliff and eat some Cheerios. ( It doesnt really work the other way )

  • had a black and gold 76......put a stock 351 windsor in it.,used the original 302 exhaust.,just a pan clearance issue with rack...(.a little.) just no HP.

  • hahaha!!!!! my friend used to have of these !!! we pulled up to a new corvette a blew his door's off !!! oh the look on the guy's face that was driving the corvette !! can you say five hundred dollar's for a 78' mustang cobra.. beating vette's !! priceless!! hahahah!!!

  • @edwinsito22 How much did he sell it for?

  • @doogaman77 Check out the videos on my channel of my Mustang II. The camshaft is a large solid lifter grind with 250/260 duration @.50". If I recall, the net valve lift is .620"-.630". It only makes 7" of vacuum idling at 1200 rpm, even with 11:1 compression. You're right, the cam in this video doesn't sound really aggressive. Still nice though!

  • @thelandry1 I'm still amazed to hear some people saying the Mustang IIs are ugly. I always thought they were one of the best looking cars. Weird.

  • @edwinsito22 do you know what the mufflers are

  • @lilcbra i have a 351 with full long tube headers with side pipes......how you do it with out cutting on your car is seat block in then slide heads down to headers................i was told u cant do it and droped a valve and thats how i figered it out lot work but man sounds like 18 wheeler on crack.........lol

  • 630 lift!!!! my cousin has a 550 lift and it sounds way more radical than that
