  • yes, we shootfighters have a strange sense of "gifts"... lol

  • Yes, we shootfighters have a strange sense of "gifts" LOL So yeah, way better than a card. How can you ask for more than to have had one of the best put a submission hold on you for your birthday. People in Japan use to come up to Bart Vale and ask him to kick them in the head while their friends took a photo, then to please autograph the photo. Japanese fans are different.

  • What happens at the seminars Stays on Youtube!

  • exactly... lol

  • Actually Jordan, yes, we call it an "Achilles Lock". I was keeping it in very generic terms since geneticman13 didn't seem to know what it was at all ... but some schools do lump Achilles locks into the category of various Ankle locks.

  • thats actually an achiles lock

  • I thought it was a calf crush.

  • He's applying an ankle lock... but it was really just a set up to surprise James Erickson for his birthday by announcing his birthday at the seminar / shootfighting summitt

  • Yes, Yoshiaki Fujiwara is the one applying the ankle lock, and Bart Vale and Yuki Ishikawa, Fujiwara's 2 top students, were also teaching at the seminar / summitt

  • what is he exactly doing though ?
