We had just purchased this pure bred Rottweiler whom we named Lotty. She joined our California home at 8 weeks old. We introduced her to ... all » our Terrier mutt that we'd had for a couple of years. The sweet innocence of the Rottweiler puppy meets a Cobra like attack when Lotty gets too close to Romy's bone. A moment preserved on video that invokes laughs every time we see it. UPDATE: Lotty the Rotty is now three years old and 90# while Rome holds forth at a feisty 45#.....but he can still hold his own with his larger sister. I guess Romy's the Alpha Dog in our household.

  • Unfortunately the breeder from whom we bought LottyTheRotty is no longer in business. She was in N. Calif. and moved to Las Vegas and that's the last we heard from her. We paid $1,200 for this beauty eight years ago. She's our second Rottweiler......they are the best and sweetest dogs in the world!

  • is it german?

  • No, Lotty the Rotty is an American Rottweiler. She's a love and a focus in our life, along with her brother, Romy The Terrier. Thanks for viewing!

  • reminds me of a rotty i had as a kid his name was Schultz awsome dog you got me thinking i i should get another but expecting first child soon might wait till he's older

  • Our (now 5 years old!) Lotty the Rotty is very good with kids, including our very young grandchildren. However, you have to watch ANY dog around children. Can't leave them alone with a baby/young child for a millisecond. Lotty's a handful but the most lovable creature on earth. She's our second Rottweiler; Robin lived 10 years and was another 'love.'

  • Adorable dogs, and Lotty seems so healthy and happy in that clip :D Rottweilers are such a good and loving breed ^^

  • You're right. Rotties Rule! The sweet Lotty will turn five on April 15. Hard to believe. This is our second Rottweiler but probably our last as we're getting older and they are really something to handle as we know from our daily two-mile walks.

  • i woudl rather get a rotweiler then pit bull

  • That's harsh dogs are territorial and the pup was in the older Dog's space, it needs to learn the boundaries.

Both dogs are very adorable <3 xx

  • @duanewadsworth

american rottweiler? i always thought there is only one "type" of rottweiler and it´s origin is a place called rottweil, germany. am i mistaking?

  • o god i wish that rotweiler does that to the other dog when shes big

  • what breeder did you buy from

  • I have the same problem. I have a 1 1/2 year old rottweiler and I just got a new 8 week old old rottweiler. When the puppy tries to go and eat the older rotty will run up and snap at her and guard the food. Is there anything I can do?

  • HEY! whats with all the hating on pitbuls. They are sweet nice dogs if raised right ,like any dog.

  • assholes got the poor dogs tail docked.

  • purchased .....
