@samsdad900 I only have 41 Now so i have to know alot less now... they made these so many different ways and i have no way of keeping track back when i took these videos. I have 185 Cars to keep track of I cant keep the Y88 Y82s straight from all my W1140 R107 nd Mercedes Chassis numbers and BMW's OMG then the GM's start with the 3800's and 3100's with the random 3400 thrown in the mix and dont even get me started on the people who want to argue SB or BB on the 351 C 390 & 400 Fords..SUB Me ;-p

@CerealMarshmallows see your still arguing with people about your descriptions, for a guy with 70+T/As you get a lot of facts wrong. gold SE was '78 only but no worries...cheers
-
this is the Y88 special which was the gold edition, the bandit edition came out in 77 which was the Y82 how are the floor panels and frame rails?

@CerealMarshmallows wasn't this on eBay about a month ago?

@81TransAmJunkie You freaking Moron that has NOTHING to do to it there actually is no such thing as a bandit T/A its a SE Edition which was offered in Black or Gold in 76, 77, 78, 79, 80, 81 & they made them in Auto and 4 Speed the list of options etc available was mind numbing just like reading emails from loose mouthed idiots like yourself look kid ive got 75 of them and ive been doing it for 20 years doing just fine too LOL and there is no such thing as Bandit emblems.

Its jist a golden anniversary.

There's no such thing as a "Gold Bandit Edition"! This car may be a Y88 code edition, which is a 1978 gold S/E Trans Am. They were never called "Bandit" by the factory. Bandit's a name that stuck from the movie. From then on, every Y84 BLACK S/E Trans Am is popularly known as a "Bandit".

Both 403s and 400s are 6.6 liters, though they are different engines. 403 engines were manufactured by Oldsmobile, while 400s were Pontiac engines. Both were available in T/As from 1977 to 1979 (actually Pontiac 400s were available in Trans Ams since the first T/A in '69, and even on earlier Firebirds)

the 403 was oldsmobiles engine which came in the firebirds also. my friend has a 78 formula with a 403. they have really good torque. the 400 and the 403 are both 6.6 liters
