I remember back in the days when people wants to know how to play a particular song, say a guitar solo, people really went on and study it by themselves, they go to concerts to get a glimpse on how the guitarist play them and apply it (really lucky if shown on the big screen). Nowadays we see people playing a whole song on youtube (piano,guitar etc.) with the camera all focused on the instrument while they're playing and PEOPLE STILL ASK FOR A FREAKING TUTORIAL. What more could you ask for?

I hope I wasn't the only person who cried while listening this...
='(
This is amazing. It sounds similar although it is different at certain parts. However GREAT JOB! I have a question, I wonder how was the process of transcribing this works for you?
Do you like listen to the song over and over again, play it on the keys, write it down yada yada and stuff? What's the order like? I'm sure we all are curious here!

@Vyszeamy Thanks!
I have a software (Transcribe) which lets me slow down and repeat the audio with additional spectrum analysis. That helps a lot, but from there it's still a long way - hearing parts over and over again, finding the keys which sound right, and then writing them down with pen and paper =)
I also split the process up for lower and higher notes (ie. left and right hand), like doing bass of a bar first and then the melody.

@Arkton amazing determination there Arkton! must've taken you day and night! but, in a way it is good! cause the melody, the notes, the mechanism all sticks to your mind and fingers :) and that makes it harder to escape! in comparison to just sight reading the notes and stuff. Amazing job I must say!

@Vyszeamy Yes. I had a complete day of time for this one, and I had the motivation to finish it fast =)
It definitely helps you playing the piece if you transcribe it. You have already learned large parts when you reach the end =)
