All those who dare criticize Fleta's tone and technique don't know what singing is all about. So, it's useless to discuss with them. Fleta's was the most complete tenor voice that can be heard on records. He was a miracle.

he's hi c is as smooth as silk.. his voice, velvety.. he's line is like a laser beam.. he's pianissimo, magical.. he's voice, the sound of a true bel canto singer, with that dome effect that does not pierce just floats and resonates beautifully.. over all, a wonderful singer.. too bad he lived only for forty years.. but he's legacy, still present.. bel canto singing.. wish every one would sing like a belcanto.. like miguel Fleta here..

Era super expresivo, super sensible y con una inmensa musicalidad, cosa que no tienen muchos otros grandes....era cercano al menos eso parece por su pureza; color de voz aterciopelado y que dominaba con creces la técnica del bel canto que hoy día esta muy olvidada solo existen voces "spintas".....chillar y berrear sin sentido estético....En definitiva: un maestro de maestros ya muerto pero en el corazón de muchos de nosotros....Terminar diciendo: para mi los mas grandes tenores son Volpi y Fleta

there is something just about the fleta's and corelli's voices that i like, but i connot quite put my finger on it. maybe is the way that they can of go unscripted, kind of like a fireworks explosion, or a controlled chaos.
