Some time ago, a brilliant poster at katebushnews.com started a thread on how "Blow Away" and "Night Scented Stock" related. With that in mind, I mixed "Blow Away" with fragments of "Night Scented Stock, then came up with a vid appropriating sequences from Jean Epstein's FALL OF THE HOUSE OF USHER (1928); performances by Minnie Riperton, Keith Moon, Sid Vicious, Buddy Holly, Sandy Denny, and Marc Bolan--all mentioned in "Blow Away"; and a few shots of Kate, too.
With its numerous shots of billowing and blowing in the wind, and the central image of Madeline Usher, one of the most famous literary characters who "died but survived, Epstein's exquisite work just seemed so right for the song.

Really nice job -- although there is another mix here on YouTube, where the poster overlayed Night Scented Stock onto Blow Away, and you can clearly hear how the chords mesh, the way he did it. However, your video is incredible -- I got chills with the scenes of Minnie, Moony, Viscious and Sandy Denny!

Came to this after your brilliant Mary Poppins-aerial vid. Just to say thanks for the Usher clips, wasn't aware of it and am big fan of old horror. Recommend you look at Powell's "Gone To Earth", as I'm sure it was inspiration for Hounds Of Love and is visually stunning (lots of good material for your vidoe remixs!)

Thanks for the tips, bobbiemars. Have you ever seen "Gun Crazy" with Peggy Cummins of "Night of the Demon?" 1950s movie way ahead of its time and with some scenes--running through the woods at night toward the end--that remind me of "Hounds of Love" That Kate! She always keeps us guessing! I'll definitely check out "Gone to Earth." Thanks, again.
