FIrst of all, I live in an area with a lot of migrant workers and they do NOT make $50/hr. Second of all, it is BACK BREAKING work! I don't know too many Americans that would be willing to do all that physical labor for just dollars an hour!

Disgusting. After his remark about "the fundamentals of our economy are strong," he's been defending himself by claiming that what he meant by "fundamentals of our economy" are American workers. Bullshit. He obviously doesn't think very highly of American workers.

He thinks I wouldn't pick lettuce for fifty bucks and hour, FIFTY BUCKS AN HOUR? That is 4 times what I make now, he is crazy , of course I would do that! But that's not what migrant workers really get paid, he is a liar.
