@feltetteluvtomfelton I think it's more likely a condition. I've seen a few particularly big shires malformed. Makes them look smaller than they are when they're like this, really sad. If you look closely there are no ribs showing, her ribcage must have been tiny. Her pelvis is also very narrow, if she was just malnourished there would be a load more bone showing back there. She is weak in build and seems to be atrophied in the quarters. Pretty obvious she wouldn't last long.

Tallest horse ever was a 22 hand black percheron...okay he wasn't black when he doed in 1927 but...tallest horse ever google it.
He doesn't look that tall, and he was also very malnourished... poor thing; all for publicity.

Shires and Clyesdales have been identified to be at risk for chronic progressive lymphedema, a chronic progressive disease that includes symptoms of progressive swelling, hyperkeratosis and fibrosis of distal limbs. The disease is similar to chronic lymphedema in humans. She is not that skinny for her age. I have a 17hh TB who always looks lanky and skinny and he eats well hes only three. Vet said he needs to grow into his body :)
