Who the fuck cares if he wears his harness or not , like it or not if hes allowed to wear it at the climbing centre its up to fucking him, not you cunts. maybe some constructive criticism on his climbing rather than being a fucking know it all.

@the4germans in most climbing gyms in sweden it is strictly forbidden to use a harness so he is perfectly accurate to state you should take it off, for one you can hurt yourself and secondly you can dimish the lifespan of the crashpadding on the floor. they are forbidden for a reason.

@the4germans a harness isnt 1 kg =.=
-
what gym is that it looks huge!
-
@the4germans I am not trying to be confrontational but:
A) the reason Mr. TheLonelyHappyMeal provided for you is true, if you are going to boulder take off the carabiner+the weight(get a weight vest or something)
B) Do sprinters only sprint for the sake of training for long distance? People go bouldering to train for bouldering. Not everyone is into sport climbing/big-walls. Bouldering is "fullscale" climbing.
C) Careful about climbing with weights, its good training but also hard on the body!
-
@the4germans you sir are kinda wrong... Yes bouldering is for training for climbing but for the most part bouldering is a different kind of climbing and you dont wear a harness because of what everyone else is saying if you fall your screwed...
-
@TheLonelyHappyMeal serious ... wtf ... who cares if he wears a damn harness does it screw your climbing u? and i bet you your bottom dollar he is 50x better then you ... you dip shit get a life and learnhow to climb!!!
-
@the4germans Yeah sorry dude must agree he is right it is not good practice to have route gear on when bouldering. If you fall that can damage your back if you land on your back. Its a bit like wearing all your trad devices when going up a sport route, you just dont.

ur an idiot man....bouldering is not there to train for a full scale climb. it is very different movements and involvement that top roping cannot compare. it is more artistic and if anything...trains your brain more because if make you think how to figure out how to send the problem then the ol' step ladder top roping
wtf take your harness off

@TheLonelyHappyMeal wtf, no. Why would i take it off, to only have to put it back on to go up the wall again? Why waste time? Plus whats the point in practicing with out one, when as soon as you do real rock climbing your body hasnt trained for the incress in weight.
So to you sir, I say ... Think it through

@the4germans I did think it through, you had a carabiner on you back gear loop and if you feel that would go into your back and hurt like fuck and might get you injured. Plus this is bouldering, you don't were a harness bouldering indoor or out. And your obviously strong enough to climb with a harness.

@TheLonelyHappyMeal suprisingly it didnt, there is also a weight in the chalk bag. Do you know why bouldering is there? its to help train for a full scale climb, the boldering offers you the safe way to practice little things that might crop up.
So what good is it to be able to do it with out the harness? when the real deal need you to have one?
Next time you go climbing, do a route you know, even on the boulders. And just attach a 1kg weight to you and see what a difference it makes.
