I believe that she is right and it is Vallecito Lake, which is accessed through Silverton, CO. This should not be confused with Vallecito Reservoir -- which is the popular camping location, which is accessed through Durango.

That's not Vallecito lake!!!!
Looks to be Emerald lake well north of Vallecito.
