@LoveNoteProjects Not really. The 2 are not interchangeable. Wether you accept my vaguely depicted definition or not, the fact stands that a reviewer and a critic aren't strictly speaking the same thing. very similar, but not the same.

@LoveNoteProjects A critic and a reviewer aren't exactly synonomous.

A reviewer rates something as either good or bad and usually comes along with some kind of score(ign is a perfect example of a bad reviewer giving most games over a 7/10)

A critic goes through critiquing and thats it. no score, or anything fancy, just strictly a critique

@TheRudyRoughnight the term reviewer and a critic are synonomous. yahtzee is just being a pretentious hypocrite and trying to make himself out to be the superior reviewer. and no technically his definition is WRONG. critics sell their oppinion to you, reviewers sell their oppinion to you. what he is talking about is a scholar and theorist which he is not, because his reviews arent for ppl that already played the game, its ppl who havent and rely on his say whether its good/not

@LoveNoteProjects technically his definition if correct. He does critique his games in a rant worthy manner, but it is still a critique. He says what may be good about a game, and what's wrong with it. That's the basis of a critic right there.
