In this episode Jeff takes you on a shop tour to update the progress of what's been going on. Then we head out to S.I.R. dragway to set up a few base runs for Al's Grand National, Chris's Supra and Gary's Riviera.

  • Those are wheels from a 85 or 84 GN. Is that really a 1987?

  • @texastexas1 Yes, I am sure it's an 1987, we picked those wheels up off an '84 T type I did a resto on a few years back. Al's car was a low rider and came with spoked Dayton's on it. Obviously he had to get rid of those. On another note Al's et got down to a twelve two at 110 mph.

  • wtf is wrong with the GN?

  • Nothing's wrong with GN's we like them a-lot obviously, my boss has an 11 sec GN my co-worker has a 13 sec GN and my other boss has two Turbo Trans am's one's run an 11.2 and the other is about to start terrorizing the desert southwest. I'm not sure what you mean.

  • i mean, this GN ran slower than any gn ive ever seen. is there something wrong with the GN shown in this video.

a 16 s gn???? really??? im sry to say this but thats pathetic

  • He had just bought the car and was working out some of the hokey work it's previous owners had done to it since this filming the car has gone on to a best time of 13.8. Just another example that you don't always see what's going on in these videos. Alvaro has only had the car for two months or so at this point.

  • oh, alrighty. 13.8 seems like a more appropriate time for the GN. was the drag race shown filmed before the correct rear gears where installed?

  • not sure have to find out.

  • yeah was that a trick to get people to buy?

  • The Challenger is a clients, he is the original owner and work for the factory stamping out the sheet metal for the car.
