Reason why MJ Aint in the game, and the others :

You can't put a players name or likeness, or use team names and uniform designs, without buying the rights first. If you want to make an NBA game, you go to the Players Association and buy the rights to the players from them. The Players Association represents virtually every current and former player... except Michael Jordan.

Like it or not MJ wants the cash to let EA present his likeness, and they stopped paying since NBA 2004, so thats why.
