The Haunting of North 3rd Street, is a Digital Video Film by Jon Hyers, Special Effects Artist behind Outrageous Media (Original creator of the TV in the Window Halloween Effect, Spooky Props Series, Ghost Machines Series, Virtual Effects and Virtual 3D). The Haunting of North 3rd Street is a TRUE story docudrama about Hyers' Family's experience living in an apparently Ghost infested house in St. Peter MN. The movie outlines a 9 month period of their residence in a 100 year old home. The Hyers interviews through the film are intercut with actor portraying them. The movie is scary because the story is not made up. This movie has had about 30 initial showings in first run theaters. The Story behind the making of this movie goes like this: Special Effects Artists Jon Hyers, had been making Ghost Effects and How To videos for about 7 years, after he decided to make an independent film. The subject matter for this movie was decided to be their old family Ghost Story, because the movie could be Well Made, without a huge budget. This was because of Hyers 20 years of experience in Film, Television and Commercial Video. The movie was made for less than a Million Dollars, using Hyers existing $2 Million Dollar + Commercial Video Production Studios. Hyers is also a qualified Director of Photography and his skills made this DV film look a lot better than soap operas often do.

The movie also uses Hyers Top Secret Virtual 3D Ghost Projection Process for the ghosts in the film, and can show Haunted Attractions the realism of this technique for making ghosts. Copies on DVD are available. The purchase of which will go towards the making of another film. The movie is very entertaining from the truth element point of view, if you ever buy movies, consider buying an independent off-Hollywood film.
