One of the best exchanges on the subject of science-fiction that I've read was one ivolving a young Brian Aldiss and C.S. Lewis (& Kingsley Amis). Some excellent discussion. Interesting that Aldiss' worldview is so diametrically opposed to that of CSL, though I know he admired him. I agree with Lewis, and definitely not with the sentiment expressed in the above clip!
