In Los Angeles, Allison Lang is a bored girl from an upper class dysfunctional family that acts and dresses like a slut. Her wealthy boyfriend and friends are totally influenced by the hip-hop culture, behaving like rappers, dressing and imitating their lifestyle. When they decide to drive to East L.A. for fun, they meet a Latin gang of drug-dealers and Allison and her best friend Emily become fascinated with their "gangsta" lifestyle. Later they return to the ghetto to visit and excite Hector and his friends, expecting to join their 16th Street gang. When the guys propose them to have sex as a form of initiation, they change their mind, leading to a tragic consequence.

Havoc didn't really get that great of ratings but I enjoyed this movie. It portrayed how careless and selfish teenagers took their life for granted just to make their lifestyle more edgy because of their "boredom". As for everyone freaking out about how the movie makes hispanics look bad...I really don't think that was the aim of the director. I'm white/hispanic and I believe regardless, every race has its share of bad people and this movie just so happened to be focused on the latino community

@TheForzaken1 ok i understand where your comming from BUT EVERYONE has a choice in their lives to either better it or make it worse, you choose to not go to school to get an education to be able to afford a decent place.. look up homeless to Harvard, its a true story about a girl you went from being poor as hell living in NY with heroine addict parents to doing 4 years of high school in 2 and getting a full scholarship to Harvard.. you have a choice
