This demonstration of Scientology training routines includes a drill in which the Scientologists shout at an ashtray to stand up and sit down. It teaches them to forcefully command others (and to be commanded) and is used to intimidate people.

  • They learn to shout at an object and then treat humans like objects sounds the making of nazi idealology to me.

  • Dammit, man, let the ashtray think for itself!

Incidentally, the free DVDs that Scientologists hand out make excellent ashtrays in my experience.

  • @NeverTrustSmilingCat that's what jim beebe says on an interview from 99 posted on here.

  • wow

  • @NeverTrustSmilingCat Who mis led you into thinking the body is not an "object" ?, in fact it's no different than anything elese in the physical universe. I am not saying however that you are the body. You animate and control the body but are NOT the body. You;re a spiritual being and only that.

  • I used to yell at ashtrays, but then I took an arrow in the knee...

  • @hncollazo

    *facepalm*

Looks like we lost another one.

  • I never saw this exercise screaming. Is not done by screaming at all. Tone 40 is done with intention and without reservations, but not screaming. This is just bad PR to damage the COS.

  • HAVE YOU SEEN MY BASEBALL?!!??!?!?!

  • LOL
