This dining room looks nice but doesn't appear quite as grand as the dining rooms on the voyager class ships. Did you use a wide angle camera lens to capture these shoots DEIx15x8? Great photography by the way. I love your videos on this ship and the way they are all linked together, just brilliant, best I've seen on the Oasis for sure. Also the stillness is great, not bumpy like others! Fantastic Job!!!

@67tr876 These shots were taken at about 1am, not sure if it was a sea day or not but at 1am that doesn't make much of a difference. All of the doors were closed at the time and the only people inside were cleaning and setting silverware for breakfast.

WHat kind of a camera did you use to film this and where can i get one?:)

@bulldri9 I used a Sony HDR-XR500v. It was Sony's HDD camcorder for 2009. The 2011 model is the HDR-TD10 which is basically two of my cameras next to each other in one body to shoot in 3D.

I have a question: as i preparing for the trip, do you know if or what night they will have formal , causal formal and casual night???
Midway737 1 year ago
@Midway737 On both the eastern and western itineraries Formal nights are day 2 and 6. There is one smart casual night and then the rest are casual. Unfortunately I'm not sure what days those are. Most likely one of the two remaining sea days is the smart casual. Usually formal and smart casual nights are planned for sea days but for some reason RCCL broke that by having one on Nassau day(eastern) and Cozumel day (western).
