First GBRf loco 66723 "Chinook" is seen hauling 3 Class 87 electric locomotives through Bescot this afterrnoon. The electrics are destined for the Bulgarian Railways and are finished in two liveries, blue and green. They are 87006, 87003 and 87034. The train was running from Long Marston to Crewe.

Also to be seen shunting tanks near the depot was the north end yard jocko number 08844.

  • Bulgarian railways has got themselves 26 of these baby's at a bargain. though its sad to see them leave UK shores, i hope that these 30 year old locomotives give BZK another 30 years of service
