  • Nice one, Ifor

  • Great collection of adverts from 1989 including Sprite and Toys R Us. The latter has been revived and is currently used in UK adverts. I wonder who the young girl in the Milk commercial grew up to be? Any guesses?

  • Whoever wrote the Toys R Us music really needed to consult a rhyming dictionary

  • lol blue stratos.theyve got it in iceland for a pound!

  • Eww! I hate that Toys R Us advert! Thats awful! I used to work for them and they played it once in the stockroom and it annoyed me!

  • That was Helen Blizard as the mother at the end of the National Savings ad and as cheesy as the jingle for it was, it always makes me smile!

Another great blast from the past. Thanks again!

  • Brilliant as usual

  • That Persil ad usually had Frankie Lymon and the Teenagers' "Why Do Fools Fall in Love" as its soundtrack - don't remember the version featured here.

  • HOORAY!

First to leave a comment. How're you, AdArchive? Everything OK in your life?

I must say: another brill batch of ads. Was that the first TOY 'R' US ad to have that theme tune - cause I remember that.
