Good for them. This world would be a better place if everybody just left each other the fuck alone.

Beautiful straight couples dont have to fight for the right to marry so the haters christians and homophobes who have an issue with it...its your issues not ours period. Standing in the way of love is hate plain and simple we only find that one special person in life to stand in the way of the right for another human being to have that same fair opportunity is Unamerican and wrong. If you believe in the constitution then respect EVERYONES rights not just yours.

16 years together, STILL waiting watching "traditional" wedding come and go then re marry then divorce to remarry, how can people think that is "acceptable but my single 1-1 relationship is still not allowed here but took us 6 legal documents to marry, is in-excusable ,Make this happen everywhere.I say or ban all marriage done by the state if it discriminates against anyone for sex or race reasons. WTG Maine ! I will be in for a long fight in Alabama.

Congratulations! The right to marry is very basic. I heard a minister say, "Gay's getting married isn't interfering with traditional marriage it just is and should be." The LGBT community still has far to go to get marriage rights.

Sometimes I feel like slapping Ohio and asking it why we don't have this right yet. I want to be able to grow up and marry whomever I want and equally as important, be able to have my future children have the general right to love whomever they want to love. I swear, that we will keep fighting the fight so that future generations won't have to go through all the pain and hurt we did. Someday... in the way far future. I can only dream of a world where there is complete exceptence of all.

I used to tell my son that by the time he was my age, gay marriage would be a non issue and generally accepted among the populace. I never thought it would happen while he was only ten years old. Extremely proud of our state for making the right move and treating ALL couples with the dignity and respect ALL people deserve. May future generations see this moment as an example of how we prevail as a collective.
