Love the Diesel Pullman Set, Would be nice to see a Blue set too. Glade you got a Bachmann Sound 47. I got a Shanks 66 for xmas from the parents.... Video Comming soon.

Thanks for the comments and the rating and the Christmas wishes. The Pullman was bought on eBay over a period of months.The type shown in this video does appear quite a lot on eBay .. expect to pay about £35 for a centre coach and about the same for the front & back driving cars.

No My neighbours cannot hear it so they tell me. It's a lot quieter than a lawn mower or strimmer which I find annoying!

if you had the real thing in your garden they would get really anoyed.
hmm ide better go buy a stationery engine and some sound proffing for the side that dont anoy me.

Hi there,
Very interested to se you using a 6 car Pullman. I own the original that you can see on utube.
I am interested to learn more about your version. I understand the coaches used are from the continental range, having been reliveried. I am also under the impression they do not have flush glazing as in the original version.

Hi there thanks for your comments. Triang Hornby modified the tooling on the diesel Pullman cars in 1971 (including the power cars) to cut costs and in so doing they did away with the flush glazing.They are not from the "continental" range as you suggest. PM me if you would like to know more about the later version.
