The failure of a new Russian intercontinental ballistic missile during testing was the cause of the spectacular, spiraling, blue lights seen early Wednesday in the skies over northern Norway, analysts said.

Russia's defence ministry said a Bulava missile was launched Wednesday by one of its nuclear submarines in the White Sea and that an unspecified failure occurred during the third stage of the launch.

I am no rocket scientist, but if this rocket failed to launch, why was it only spinning in one spot? wouldn't the spiral drop slowly" I can't seem to find a good video where it shows the complete time of this spiral. =(

It failed on it's 3rd stage going many thousands of mph. It appears to be spinning in one spot because of the angle this was taken at, and the great distance. Once it stopped venting, the gasses spread out quickly because there is no air to slow it down (the black hole). The whole event only lasted 3-4 min. The smoke often will stay in the sky for up to 30 min.

The long exposure photos did make it look mesmerizing! ;)

This rocket explanation is probably the worst thing i have ever heared... Only really nice brainwashed people believe this bullshit of a spinng 3rd stage for 3 - 4 min creating a perfect spiral. Especially when you look at the place of origin of the spiral.

Only brainwashed gullible people fall for (and will pay to see) Dr. Greer's latest bullshit movie Sirius. What a fuck'n joke.

Thanks for your explanation, but I have another question. Do space researchers or government test their rockets at night? Does this happen a lot? Where did the failed rocket land? Why is this rocket a mystery? Where is the evidence where this rocket failed. =)

No matter the stage is , gravity would gradually pulled it closer and closer , because rocket looses her sustainability . And blue smoke would dissolve much earlier and would not sustain so long in such a perfect shape. Anyway you think it's a rocket, fine with me. But You can't post some video that says DEBUNKED and actually it doesn't debunk .It's a computer emulation that would work if there is not any gravity nor it explains blue light... Anyway Im not sure what it is. Enjoy.
