  • I saw this in 1962,I was 16,I made my mom take me,had to go with an adult.We both liked it,though strange,it showed things in the world that in 1962 seemed wild.Now in 2011,they are mostly tame.

  • Women were way hotter back in these days!

  • Interesting movie, made quite an impression on me as a child. Depressing, too.

  • This film was considered very controversial and made a big stir when it came out, then it disappeared for several decades. I believe that it was made by the same team as "Africa Addio" which also disappeared, but probably for reasons of alleged racism in the era of "the wind of change" and burgeoning political correctness.

    The catchy theme tune remained popular.
