Good job. But just for the record, Doc covered this tune. The song was written by the way too unappreciated writer Lawrence Hammond in 1973. He wrote so many other songs that need to be heard. Listen to his Coyote's Dream album by Takoma Records (if you can find one)... so many great tunes with superb, evocative lyrics.
