IGN reviewers will give any game flak if it isn't a AAA blockbuster game like BF3, Call of Duty: MW3, or Skyrim. I own all the games aforementioned, but let's face it, you eventually get sick of serious games like this and just want to sit down and play some sonic with a side of nostalgia.

I gotta say I was pretty disappointed by with this game at first because of awkward controls and the speed of the gameplay, but I thought it was pretty good in the end. It kinda renewed my interest in Sonic, since it was a big part of my childhood.

@DrNeXX2000 My apologizes, perhaps I should of have said some or most of the fanbase are immature instead of summarizing them as whole. Even then, I'm not making an arguement or opinion as their reaction in sonic 4 ep 2 still validates my claim. I understand if you find COD overrated but that doesn't mean you have to spam their name every single time in a review you disagree with espcially in a game unrelated to it(Not that I'm accusing you of such). 8.5 is still a good score.

My main complaint is the modern music remark. Sonic's always had good music, if you think his music started sucking after the Genesis, you need to get your ears checked. Are the soundtracks perfect? No. But are they "so bad you'll want to kill yourself" as he puts it? Hell no.
