鷹硯寺＠宮城県岩沼市

南長谷地区にある鷹硯寺（ようけんじ）は、平安時代（11世紀）の百合若伝説にちなんで建てられた寺です。
陸奥国に文房具を届けるため、百合若将軍の夫人が鷹に硯をつけて放ちましたが、重さに耐えられずこのあたりに墜落して死んだと伝えられています。
なお、百合若伝説はギリシャ神話のユリシーズ物語とよく似ているそうです。

The Youken temple in Iwanuma city(Miyagi prefecture,Japan) was built commemorating Yuriwaka legend of the 11th century.
It is told that Yuriwaka general's wife shot applying the ink slab to the hawk to deliver stationery to the Mutsu country, the hawk crashes around here and died because the weight was not able to be endured.
Yuriwaka legend seems to look like the Ulysses story of Greek mythology well.
I took a picture of this animation on January 28,2008.
