I wouldn't call it Frito pie - that means something totally different, it's more of a frito and apple salad.
As for putting lots of color in eat to make it appeal to my stomach - my stomach isn't that dumb. I judge food on the taste, not on the trash tossed over it for color.

This is nasty to even think about. But if he is going to try and make it work and make it look "pretty" he shouldn't have all the brown together in one bowl... People eat with their eyes first, and that either looked like something my cat spewed on my carpet or someones mexican food didn't sit right. Now the combination of ingredient could very well go together if some brave soul is willing to try it... Either way still looks nasty.
