Based on the Japanese legend, I made this for the On The Lot contest

This was a very interesting take on the old Urban Legend! Urban Legends are just that: LEGENDS. Legends can change story from story :)

I thought this was pretty entertaining: the intro/back story was effective with the use of sepia tone and angles. I also liked how you used the husband shadow effect!

The voice acting was ok, but i understand this was taped outside and it was wind noise, etc. The blood effect when her mouth was slit in the snow was nice!

What exactly is On the Lot?

@shadowsreflection13 Glad to see someone with some common sense and who understands that there's no single version of an urban legend.. It was old, yet still one of the better things I've done (Sad face) Still better than the theatrical movie that was released.

On The Lot was a reality show to find the next big director. The show wasn't any good, I'm glad I didn't waste any time. Working on better things now.

she walks the streets of japan preying on childeren. she ask am i beautiful? and before they can answer she takes of the mask and goes am i beatutiful now? if they say yes then she cuts their mouth with scissors, if they say no, she chops thir head off, the only way you can escape is by sayin, you look normal or you look average, she will get confused and you will have anough time to run away :)

actually you say yes the first time she removes her mask. if you say no she will slay you immediately. if you say yes you will be followed and be slayed at your doorway. to be saved you have to say "You're average" or "so so" and she won't know what to do so in the end, you live

@Demiiee1 She preys on EVERYONE. The only reason people think it is specifically children these days is from the big scare that happened around the 80's. The legend is supposed to convey vanity, so it would make 0 sense for her to specifically target children. That's why Carved the movie was so dumb, because they tried to make it about the children when it was supposed to be about vanity. Please do research before criticizing others about their lack of research.

I heard from some sources that throwing candy at her is a distraction. Also one could say: "Do you have an appoinment (or something) to attend to" will get her to leave you alone. She will give a blood-soaked ruby is you say yes. Saying average/so-so will get her in confusion.

A funny thing I thought of is that if she asks when revealing her mouth, I would say: "I would like it more if you don't kill me."
