Con Artist & religious huckster Bob Morey creates a phoney "secret bank account" story in order to extort money from the public. To see the entire video presentation go to "Yahoo Video" & search "Robert Morey." In this particular case Morey, in a bold move to deceive those who would never suspect that he would lie so blatantly, uses shallow "proofs" that monies had been looted from a so-called "secret bank account" created by dishonest stewards. In this extortion scam, Morey uses a copy of a bank deposit slip and handwrites a note saying this deposit is "diverted to secret account" leaving people to accept his handwritten claim without further evidence. Fraudmaster Morey also employs a bank signature card as if this is evidence of a "secret bank account." Apparently this type of "evidence" is considered "overwhelming" by a Christian ministry called Evangelical Ministries to New Religions (EMNR) run by Bill Alnor at the time. EMNR, in collusion with Morey, sent Morey's scam information out by fax & other methods to various individuals throughout the United States. At the same time EMNR refused to send this scam information to the individuals who were being falsely accused of criminal activities by Morey so they could respond to it. Morey's desperate scam of a "secret bank account" was created solely to hide the actual facts of the case from the public. In reality Morey had defrauded the so-called "embezzlers" out of almost $23,000, after a failed attempt to defraud them out of $33,000. To hide this from the public, the author of "The Islamic Invasion" and other poorly researched books, concocted the "secret bank account" story to hide what had actually taken place. In this way Morey could not only hide the truth but at the same time receive financial support & sympathy from an unsuspecting public. Morey realized that the penalties for mail fraud under federal law were not very stiff so he took the chance & went for it. To view hard copy pdf documentation pertaining to this case go to "fileqube (.com)/shfolder/10211vNixWr". Hank Hanegraaff, director of the Christian Research Institute & host of the "Bible Answer Man" radio show whose founder was Dr Walter Martin who was a frequent guest on the John Ankerberg Show says "Dr" Robert A. Morey of Faith Defenders, Biblical Thought, Faith Community Church (FCC), California Biblical University and Seminary (CBUS), Bob Morey Live, and Doxological Apologetics is dishonest & unscholarly. Hanegraaff's comments come in reference to a report Morey wrote in his national "Researcher" newsletter attacking Gregory A. Boyd, author of the book, "Oneness Pentecostals and the Trinity." Boyd's book was endorsed by Hanegraaff & the CRI staff. In a letter by Dr. Boyd he states, "..."Truth-Seeker Bob [Morey] went after me with a vengence. He was trying to prove Hank Hanegraaff was incompetent in endorsing my book by proving that I was a heretic on the basis of my former book "Trinity and Process". He sent letters around the country telling Christian distributors to stop selling my books because I was (among other things) a process theologian, that I denied the Incarnation, I denied the Trinity!!!, and I was, in short, a closet liberal. His tactics half worked as my book sales dropped significantly. I still get hassaling mail from people about this. Well, to make a long story short, I have never in my life encountered, or even imagined, such blatant malice, deceit, and vile ungodliness -- let alone in someone who taunts himself as a Christian leader. At first I thought this was just an extraordinarily dull person (I had never heard of him before) who couldn't read, who had an extraordinary meglomaniac streak which made him want to be a "scholar." Hence he looked silly. But, as the case wore on, I began to see that the situation was far worse. He 'had' to understand my work enough to know 'how' to distort it. And, I began to see, he had to be lying intentionally to be so consistent and manipulative with them. This man, I finally came to see, WAS EVIL. He's a megalomaniac with a vengence, and so far as I can see, not an ounce of honesty or integrity to curb it with. This man is, in my estimation, very bad for Christianity, and very dangerous." The entire letter and other supporting documentation can be found by going to a hard copy pdf site on the internet called fileqube (.com)/ shfolder/10211vNiXWr and look for the report entitled "Recapping Events." Another useful site is the saintaugustinian (.blogspot) with links to multiple internet sites & blogs that expose "Faith Defector" Robert A. Morey for what he really is which adds support & documentation to what Boyd has said.
