iTouch 3.0 Jailbreak

Upgrade iTouch to 3.0 Software and jailbreak it without iTunes.

Important:
-Don't Install Icy, it's just a wannabe Cydia and doesn't have as many important stuff on it, it's pretty useless. If you install it by mistake open cydia and search for Cydelete, go in settings and unprotect Icy and uninstall it.
-Remove your password before starting the jailbreak.
-If redsn0w crashes or bugs and you unplug your iTouch just perform a Hard Reset. Happened to me when running redsn0w on Windows 7.

How to perform a Hard Reset:
Hold the Home and Power button until you see the Apple logo and that's your reset!

Question; I have a 2G iTouch that isn't jailbroken and I'm updating it to 3.0 using the custom restore. Is it supposed to take such a long time to update? It's been almost an hour and It's still just showing the iTunes/usb link on the touch. Let me know if it's just the 2G's themselves or if it's a problem.

ya you have to update to 3.0 first before you do anything,,,BUT becareful dont update to 3.1 download 3.0 and custom restore

ok soo this is my second time too jail break mine,

both times, i got to where my ipod said "downloading jailbreak data"

but then it just froze.

i deleted both redsn0w and the 3.0 program and im re-instaling them now

does anyone have any suggestions?
