I lived in Westbourne park but spent a lot of time uptown. I always got a feeling of anticipation coming up the steps from the Piccadilly underground. The lights set the tone for the evening & then the question,which Jazz club to start at,with others to follow unless we struck lucky at the1st one.

Wow! Piccadilly Circus looked like Old Times Square as it was in the 50s...Shame now there are not so much ads on Piccadilly anymore...
