A very time consuming and complex way to tune the amp. Better is to set for full output (drive around 60 watts) and push BOTH the PREV and NEXT buttons to put the 6dB attenuator in line and start tuning (first TUNE for max output, next center the load indicator and finally adjust TUNE for max output again). Push both PREV and NEXT again and you're done. Simple as that and takes max. 5 to 10 sec... (this is covered in the manual) !
