Hello dropcloth, nice playing indeed. I agree with this comment! Very nice how you fluidly keep your measure very well. Otherwise I suggest you try it a hint slower - it would be perfect! One must be able to imagine to dance to it. Anyway, very well done - keep posting!

Without any listening, (or before...), I have just to say that BWV is the #2 Bach violin solo partita's Chaconne, not a gigue...
And it's a masterpiece, some aprehension to the listening... :)

Thanks for the observation glapiauzo. Seeing the smile emoticon at the end of your remarks indicates your intentions are good natured.
At the risk of sounding pedantic or long-winded, Id like to point out to you that Bachs Partita In D Minor For Solo Violin is catalogued as BWV 1004. That would include all five movements, (Allemanda, Corrente, Sararbanda, Giga and Ciaccona) not solely the Ciaccona. Think of BWV 1004 as a book and each movement a chapter to better understand my point.

This was really enjoyable! Great musical talent. If I could play like you technically, I would play it less legato (although it is beautiful like this), so that it sounds more like a dance which a gigue is meant to be indeed. Thanks for posting this nice piece of music!
